In Hope's 94-92 win against Alma Feb. 9, Beckman scored 38 points on 14-of-23 shooting, including perfect shooting from three-point range (2-2) and the free throw line (8-8) to go with two assists, two steals, and two rebounds. Beckman's effort is the highest single-game scoring performance in MIAA games this season. Beckman also had a 23-point performance in Hope's 71-62 win at Adrian.
