Calvin junior Jonathan Ellis (Baltimore, Md./Towson HS) has been named the MIAA Athlete of the Week for Men's Indoor Track and Field. At the MIAA Championships this past weekend, Ellis captured a league title in the 5,000-meter run with a season-best time of 14:43.99. He followed by taking third in the 3,000-meter run (8:45.68), helping Calvin finish second in the final team standings with 145 points. His time in the 5,000-meter run currently ranks 18th nationally.
