Among the highlights from the 2018 season:
- Calvin advanced to the NCAA Division III Volleyball Championship title game for the second time in three seasons, but the Knights were defeated 3-0 by Emory.
- Calvin won both the MIAA regular season and tournament titles for the second consecutive year, defeating Hope 3-1 in the MIAA Tournament Championship game.
- Calvin's Sarah DeVries was named the 2018 TeamSnap/AVCA Division III Player of the Year; DeVries became the sixth different Calvin player to earn National Player of the Year honors over the last eight seasons.
