2019 MIAA Year In Review - Men's Soccer

Among the highlights from the 2019 season:

- For the first time in MIAA history, three teams represented the conference in the 2019 NCAA Division III Men's Soccer Championship. Along with MIAA regular season and tournament champion Calvin, Hope and Kalamazoo garnered at-large berths. Calvin went on to advance to the National Semifinal before falling to defending champion Tufts.

- In the first scoreless draw in MIAA Men's Soccer Tournament championship game history, the Calvin men's soccer team prevailed, 4-3 in penalty kicks, over Hope to earn the MIAA's tournament title and NCAA automatic berth.

- Calvin's Ian Adams garnered one of the top academic honors from the NCAA - the Elite 90 Award. Adams had the best grade-point average among competitors at the National Championship.
