2018 MIAA Year In Review - Baseball

Among the highlights from the 2018 season:

- Adrian went 24-4 during the MIAA regular season to earn their 10th consecutive MIAA Championship. Their current streak is the longest since baseball's inception in the MIAA in 1888.

- Adrian defended their MIAA Tournament title with a 3-2 win over Hope in the championship game. Trailing the Flying Dutchmen in the fifth inning, Adrian added two in the bottom of the fifth and the game's decisive run in the eighth inning.

- Kalamazoo's Ryan Orr threw a no-hitter against Albion April 18, leading to MIAA Player of the Week and two national awards for his efforts.

- It was a notable season for Adrian's Tommy Parsons, who repeated as MIAA Pitcher of the Year while adding All-America honors from CoSIDA (Google Cloud Academic All-America Third Team), D3baseball.com (All-America Second Team) and ABCA (All-America First Team).
