2019 MIAA Year In Review - Women's Golf

2019 MIAA Year In Review - Women's Golf

Among the highlights from the 2018-19 season:

- Saint Mary's defended their title as MIAA Champions, as the Belles posted a five-round average of 310.6 strokes to capture the regular season title. All five Saint Mary's golfers were first-team All-MIAA performers - the Belles featured five of the six lowest averages over the fall's five rounds; it marked the first time in MIAA history one team's top five golfers were all First-Team All-MIAA.

- Snow, rain, and ongoing poor conditions resulted in the suspension and ultimate cancellation of the final 18-hole round of the MIAA NCAA Automatic Qualifier at Knollwood Country Club April 27. As a result of the cancellation of the round, host Saint Mary's earned the MIAA's automatic bid to the 2019 NCAA Championship Tournament.

- Saint Mary's sophomore golfer Hunter Kehoe was one of only ten golfers to be named to the Region 2/Great Lakes All-Region Team as announced at the 2019 Division III NCAA Championships by the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA).
