Saint Mary's Hunter Kehoe Named All-Great Lakes Region by WGCA
HOUSTON, Texas - Saint Mary's sophomore golfer Hunter Kehoe was one of only ten golfers to be named to the Region 2/Great Lakes All-Region Team as announced at the 2019 Division III NCAA Championships by the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA).

In all, 50 student-athletes in five separate regions were recognized with All-Region honors by the WGCA for the 2018-19 year. From that same list of 50 student-athletes, 20 are named to the All-American Teams.

A native of Traverse City, Michigan, Kehoe is ranked 54th overall among NCAA Division III women's golfers by Golfstat prior to the NCAA Championships. Her adjusted scoring average of 77.35 was the fourth-best among this year's All-Region honorees for the Great Lakes Region. She trailed only Larisa Luloff (ranked No. 1 among all Division III women's golfers), Emily Salamy (No. 9), and Bailey Plourde (No. 12).

The 2018 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Season Medalist and Most Valuable Golfer, she has a 77.5 stroke average over 19 rounds of play during the 2018-19 academic year. A seven-time MIAA Golfer of the Week, she was the round or tournament medalist five times during the year (Cross Town Rivalry; Carthage Shootout on the Border; MIAA Jamboree #3; Alice Lloyd Spring Invite; MIAA NCAA AQ #1).

Kehoe becomes the first Saint Mary's golfer to garner All-Region honors since the 2010-11 year when Mary Kate Boyce was named both All-Region and All-American.
