#D3MIAA Student-Athlete Spotlight: Drew Harm, Albion College

Apr 5, 2019

Drew Harm, a member of the Albion College men’s lacrosse team, wasn’t diagnosed with a concussion after being struck by a shot during practice as a sophomore. Instead, doctors discovered a mass on Harm’s brain. When the benign mass grew, Harm had brain surgery at the start of the 2018 calendar year; now, Harm is defying the odds and continues to have an impact as a leader both on the field and in the classroom for the Britons in 2019. Harm takes a moment to share an amazing story of resilience in this edition of the MIAA's Student-Athlete Spotlight video series. #WhyD3MIAA UPDATE (April 5): Drew recently underwent another MRI in which he learned that tumor growth has re-emerged. He will now need to face another surgery and the fight to rid himself of this tumor continues... We are currently calling this planned surgery 'Round 2'
