The Hope College women's cross country team won its sixth-consecutive and 12th all-time Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Championship on Friday, Oct. 29, with a final score of 36.

Trine's Evie Bultemeyer finished the 6K event in 21:10.1, improving on her 2019 first-place time of 22:34.9, to win by 29 seconds.  Ana Tucker of Hope finished in second place (21:39.0) for her second-straight season.  Calvin's Sadie Heeringa took third with a time of 21:59.4, followed by Hope's Rebecca Markham in fourth (22:28.6).  Albion's Megan McCulloch clocked in at 22:31.5 to round out the top five.

Calvin finished the 6K second with a score of 46, followed by Trine in third with a score of 85.
