NOTRE DAME, Ind. -- At the conclusion of the 2021 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Women's Cross Country Championships on Friday, Oct. 29, the MIAA announced 16 student-athletes as All-MIAA performers baced on their finishes at the championship meet.
Trine's Evie Bultemeyer, who became the first-ever women's cross country runner from Trine to earn Most Valuable Runner honors in 2019, clinched the MVR title once again after clocking in at 21:10.1. Bultemeyer tallied her fourth All-MIAA accolade, including her second-straight First Team recognition.
Hope had two top-five finishers including Ana Tucker in second and Rebecca Markham in fourth. Calvin's Sadie Heeringa concluded the 6K in third place, while Albion's Megan McCulloch rounded out the top five.
Five runners became two-time All-MIAA honorees including Calvin's Heeringa, Hope's Jacinda Cole and Ana Tucker, Kalamazoo's Rachael Gallap, and Trine's Chloe Brittain.
