Among the highlights from the 2017-18 season:

- Calvin's depth, specifically in the freestyle events, lifted the Knights to their 14th consecutive MIAA Swimming and Diving Championship Feb. 21-24 at Calvin's Venema Aquatic Center. Abby Van Harn, who was named Most Valuable Swimmer for the meet, swept the freestyle sprints, including an MIAA record in the 100 free (50.05).

- The Knights re-set the MIAA standards in all three freestyle relays at the 2018 MIAA Championship.

- At the 2018 NCAA Swimming and Diving Championship, Calvin's Abby Van Harn was a four-time All-American, finishing fifth in the 100 free as well as anchoring Calvin's 200, 400, and 800 free relay teams that finished sixth, seventh, and eighth, respectively.
