2018-19 MIAA Year In Review - Wrestling

Among the highlights from the 2018-19 season:

- After a 35-year hiatus, wrestling returned as an MIAA-sponsored sport for the 2018-19 academic year. Milestones along the way included the first-ever MIAA Wrestler of the Week in Olivet's Trevor Piggott on November 5.

- Olivet won all three MIAA duals in 2019 to raise the 2019 MIAA Championship trophy, the 11th all-time for the Comets.

- At the 2019 NCAA Championship, Alma's tandem of Brendan Ladd (141 pounds) and Zachary Cooper (149 pounds) garnered All-America honors, as Ladd placed seventh and Cooper fifth in their respective weight classes.
