• Calvin rebounded from their three-point setback to nationally-ranked Trine with a 77-48 win at Adrian Jan. 27. In that game, Ali Spayde (Sr., G, Lewis Center, Ohio) led all scorers with 26 points while posting a game-best seven assists and notching eight rebounds.
• #11/#12 Trine went on the road to pick up two key MIAA wins and take a one-half game lead in the league standings by handing previously unbeaten Hope a 58-55 setback Jan. 27. Trine's Brandi Dawson (Jr., G, Garrett, Ind.) surpassed the 1,000-point mark for her career with a game-high 25 point effort against the Flying Dutch, and earned national honors for aiding the Thunder in their two contests last week.
