Junior swimmer David Bajwa (Potomac, Md. / The Heights School) led the No. 8 Calvin Knights men's swimming and diving team to 189-99 dual meet victory at Grove City College Friday night and set 3 pool records in a quad meet against Division III nationally-ranked opponents at Carnegie Mellon University. In Friday's meet against Grove City, Bajwa finished 2nd in the 200 freestyle with a time of 1:46.48, finished 3rd in the 100 breaststroke at 1:01.48, and was the lead-off for the third place 200 freestyle relay with a split of 21.35. On Saturday, against powerhouse competition, Bajwa won the 100 freestyle in a pool record of 45.78, led off the 200 freestyle relay in a dual meet best and pool record of 20.50, and helped the 200 freestyle relay win the event to set another pool record. Bajwa also competed in the 100 backstroke finishing 3rd at 50.57, and was the anchor for the winning 200 medley relay with a split of 20.23.
