Junior Thaine Nederveld (Columbus, Ohio / Columbus Alternative) was deemed the 2023 MIAA Most Valuable Runner following his first-place finish at the 2023 MIAA Men's Cross Country Championships with an 8K time of 24:05.4.  This is Nederveld's third-consecutive season earning a spot on the All-MIAA First Team.  Nederveld led Calvin to its 36th-straight championship title.
