Junior Emily Morthorst anchored the team in net as the Thunder picked up their first win of the season this past week. In her first contest of the week, she turned in a 14 save effort as the team came up just short of visiting Taylor. Then in the team’s second game of the week, Morthorst turned in a 12-save attempt as the team came away with a 16-8 victory over Wis.-La Crosse
