Miles Caine Hired as Adrian's Head Cross Country Coach

ADRIAN, Mich. – Adrian College Athletic Director, Craig Rainey, announced the hiring of Miles Caine as the head cross country coach. Caine will also work under Ty Hoover who serves as Director of Track and Field and Cross Country. Caine will assist in distance events for the track and field season in addition to coaching cross country in the fall.
 
Caine is a 2021 graduate of Wittenberg University where he majored in exercise science.  At Wittenberg, he was a member of the varsity cross country team and track and field team. After college, Caine returned home to Ypsilanti, Michigan where he served as a coach at the Ann Arbor Athletic Club. He worked with clients in different training courses along with stability and mobility classes.
 
In 2022, Caine went on to become the assistant cross country and track and field coach at Alderson Broaddus University in West Virginia. At Alderson Broaddus, he conducted practices for distance athletes while also writing individual running, strength and conditioning, and stability and mobility workouts. He also assisted the team in recruiting distance athletes.
 
Caine will begin his role immediately where he will begin to prepare for the 2023 cross country season scheduled to being in September.
