Three MIAA Student-Athletes Selected to CSC Women’s Track & Field/Cross Country All-America® Team

AUSTIN, Texas -- Three women's track and field/cross country student-athletes from the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) earned Academic All-America® recognition from College Sports Communicators (CSC) on Wednesday, June 28, including Hope College's Ana Tucker and both Delaney Sall and Jenna Allman from Calvin University.

Both Sall and Tucker were named to the CSC Academic All-America® Second Team.

This is Sall's second-straight year on the CSC Academic All-America® list.  As a junior triple major (Spanish, Biology, and Environmental Sciences), Sall boasts a grade-point average of 3.83.  This season, Sall assisted the Knights to second-place finishes in the MIAA for cross country, indoor track and field, and outdoor track and field.  Sall earned First Team All-MIAA accolades following her indoor performance in the 800m run and Second Team All-MIAA recognition for cross country.  She is a four-time NCAA Division III All-American in track and field and a two-time member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

Tucker became a two-time CSC Academic All-America® honoree this year.  The senior Exercise Science major has a GPA of 3.86 and is a three-time member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.  Tucker led the Flying Dutch to MIAA titles in cross country, indoor track and field, and outdoor track and field this year.  Along with receiving Most Valuable Runner, Most Valuable Indoor Track Athlete, and Most Valuable Outdoor Track Athlete, Tucker racked up First Team All-MIAA accolades this year in cross country, the mile run (indoor), the 3000m run (indoor), the distance medley relay (indoor), the 5000m run (outdoor), and the 10,000m run (outdoor).  Tucker earned four All-America nods this year, including two indoor and two outdoor.

Allman, a junior at Calvin, received a spot on the CSC Academic All-America® Third Team.  She boasts a grade-point average of 3.87 as a double major in Social Work and Psychology.  Allman concluded the 2023 MIAA Cross Country Championships as the runner-up for First Team All-MIAA recognition and she competed in both the 3000m run and the 3000m steeplechase at the 2023 NCAA Championships.  She is a two-time member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.
