Trine's Bultemeyer Named Great Lakes Region Women's Athlete of the Year

Following the 2019 NCAA Division III Great Lakes Regional race, the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced regional award winners.

Trine women's cross country runner Evie Bultemeyer was named the Division III Great Lakes Regional Women's Cross Country Athlete of the Year by the USTFCCCA Nov. 19. Bultemeyer was the Great Lakes Regional individual champion, hosted by Calvin Nov. 16.

While competing at the Great Lakes Regional Nov. 16, seven Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association student-athletes garnered All-Region honors for finishing in the top 35 at the event: Calvin's Michelle Koetje and Sadie Heeringa; Hope's Ana Tucker, Chelsea Miskelley, and Anna Frazee; and Trine's Elizabeth Lohman and Bultemeyer.
