MIAA Women's Cross Country Week #6 Wrap-Up

A myriad of teams were in action for Week #6 of the women's cross country season. Highlights from the weekend's action include:

• Alma's Kaitlyn Arnold (Sr., Jackson, Mich.) won the 15-team Lansing Cross Country Invitational, finishing the 5K event in 18:15.3 to lead the Scots to a fourth-place finish. Two more MIAA runners were in the top 10, as Alma's Mallory Munderloh (So., St. Louis, Mich.) and Calvin's Marissa Hiekema (Jr., Lynden, Wash.) finished ninth and 10th, respectively, with PR efforts.

• Kalamazoo participated at the Michigan Intercollegiate Oct. 7, with Victoria Thamann (Fr., Vicksburg, Mich.) finishing the 4K race in 17:11.


• Saint Mary's finished seventh at the 14-team Bethel Invitational Oct. 7. Brittany Beeler (Sr., Spring Lake, Mich.) finished eighth with her time of 18:39.5.

• 
Hope placed third overall and first among NCAA Division III teams at the 13-team Principia Invitational. Anna Frazee (Fr., Watervliet, Mich.) finished the 6K race in 24:20.58.
