Hope Volleyball Finishes Regular-Season Undefeated to Claim MIAA Crown

HUDSONVILLE, Mich. -- The Hope College volleyball program won the 2023 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) championship title following an unblemished league record of 8-0 (25-2 overall).  This is the fifteenth time in program history that the Flying Dutch were crowned the conference champion.

Hope wrapped up the 2023 campaign on Saturday, November 4, with a 3-0 home victory versus Adrian.

The Flying Dutch will compete as the top-seeded team in the 2023 MIAA Volleyball Tournament.  Hope receives a bye in the First Round on November 7 before hosting the semifinals on November 10 and the championship match on November 11 at DeVos Fieldhouse.

At the conclusion of the regular season, Hope is the league leader with 392 kills, 14.52 kills per set, 363 assists, 13.44 assists per set, 2.22 service aces per set, 498 points, and 18.4 points per set.

The bracket for the 2023 MIAA Volleyball Tournament will be released on Sunday, November 5, at 10:00 a.m.
