Calvin University -- the 2022 MIAA Champion, 2022 MIAA Volleyball Tournament champion -- will serve as one of eight regional host sites in the opening round of competition.  Hope College will also compete in Grand Rapids after receiving an at-large bid into the NCAA Tournament.

The Knights (25-3 overall) are making their 16th-consecutive appearance on the national stage.  Calvin will face Aurora (22-9 overall) in the first round of competition at Van Noord Arena.

Hope (21-7 overall) received an at-large berth into the tournament for the fourth-straight season.  This is the 18th appearance in the national tournament for the Flying Dutch.  Hope will play Wittenberg (23-4) in the first round of regional play.

The eight-team regional bracket also includes Wisconsin-Oshkosh (30-5 overall), Otterbein (23-5 overall), WashU (29-5 overall), and Millikin (23-10 overall).

The 64-team field will compete in Regional play Nov. 10-12 at the eight host institutions.  The eight teams that advance will be re-seeded and travel to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, for the final rounds at the UPMC Cooper Fieldhouse on November 16-19.

An MIAA team has participated in the NCAA Semifinals or Championship game in 10 of the last 12 years, including the last four seasons (not including the 2020 NCAA Tournament which was cancelled due to COVID-19).
