Tournament Bracket

The Calvin Knights volleyball team went 7-0 during the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association regular season for the second consecutive year, and with a 3-0 win over Alma Nov. 1, the Knights secured the 2019 MIAA Volleyball Championship.

Calvin extended their streak of consecutive MIAA titles to 10; the 2019 title marks the fifth consecutive time the Knights are MIAA champions outright. Since 1972, Calvin has won 26 MIAA Championships.

The Knights will be the top seed in the upcoming 2019 MIAA Volleyball Tournament Nov. 5, 8, and 9, where the winner will receive an automatic berth into the 2019 NCAA Division III Volleyball Championship. Calvin will enter the tournament at the semifinal round Friday, Nov. 8, facing the winner of Tuesday's first round contest between No. 4 Alma and No. 5 Albion. Calvin will host the semifinal and final rounds at Van Noord Arena.

Also in the tournament are No. 2 seed Hope, who awaits the first round winner between No. 3 Trine and No. 6 Saint Mary's.
