It was a MIAA Volleyball Tournament final to remember, as two top-10 programs nationally again battled through a five-set thriller Saturday evening; and after over two hours of competition, No. 10-ranked Hope defeated No. 1-ranked and previously undefeated Calvin in five sets, including 15-13 in the decisive set.
Hope's Katie Rietberg (So., OH, Holland, Mich.) had a match-high 16 kills while Sophia Hackett (Jr., S, Indianapolis, Ind.) had a double-double of 44 assists and 13 digs to pace the Flying Dutch.
The NCAA Tournament bracket announcement is slated for Monday, Nov. 7 at 12:30 p.m.
