Hope Wins Fourth-Consecutive MIAA Women's Outdoor Track and Field Championship

Hope won the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Women's Outdoor Track and Field Championship for the fourth-straight season after finishing the final day of events with a total of 192 points.

Trine's Evie Miller had a MIAA record-breaking performance in the 1500m run after clocking in at 4:31.44.  Calvin's Sadie Heeringa (4:33.17) and Delaney Sall (4:35.63) finished second and third, respectively.

Haley Livingston of Trine is a three-time All-MIAA athlete this year.  She leapt 11.20m in the triple jump for the top spot.  Calvin's Jessye Vanden Akker claimed second place (10.57m) and Albion's Ashley Dubois third (10.51m).  Livingston also finished first in the 100m hurdles (14.99), leading Albion's Nayaisha Edmond (15.46) and Olivet's London Eldridge (15.91).  In addition, Livingston clocked in at 1:05.50 for a first-place finish in the 400m hurdles, followed by Olivet's London Eldridge (1:06.12) and Hope's Hayley Scollard (1:07.25).

Albion's Avery Campbell concluded the 100m dash in first place with a time of 12.49.  Teammate Layla Wilks finished in second at 12.74, followed by Hope's Amanda Lines in third place (12.84).  Campbell also finished first in the 200m dash (25.33), leading Alma's Ericka Bigham (25.83) and Hope's Grace Behrens (25.89).

Albion's Anna Albaugh threw 33.87m in the javelin for a first-place finish.  Trine's Malena Ricks finished in second place (33.41m) and Hope's Elisabeth Strotman in third place (32.91m).  Albaugh also finished first in the discus throw (38.68m), followed by Alma's Bailey Hoffman (36.65m) and Olivet's Ashley Santo (36.32m).

Calvin's Jenna Allman notched a victory in the steeplechase (10:55.71) and was followed by Albion's Samantha Bieth (11:12.91) and Calvin's Brynne Winiarski (11:52.37).

Albion won the 4 x 100m relay with a time of 49.31.  The winning quartet included Nayaisha Edmond, Layla Wilks, Lauren McDowell, and Avery Campbell.

Ericka Bigham of Alma finished first in the 400m dash after clocking in at 57.63.  Hope's Grace Behrens (1:00.24) and Julie Timperman (1:01.63) concluded the event in second and third, respectively.

Calvin's Delaney Sall notched a victory in the 800m run (2:13.62).  Evie Miller of Trine was the runner-up (2:13.78) and Knight Sadie Heeringa concluded the event in third place (2:16.31).

Hope's Anna Mason concluded the 5000m run in first place with a time of 17:37.16.  She was followed by teammates Ana Tucker in second place (17:49.74) and Rebecca Marham in third place (17:51.89).

Albion's 4 x 400m relay claimed the top spot after finishing in 4:03.65.  The winning quartet included Becca Ross, Lauren McDowell, Ashley Dubois, and Avery Campbell.
