• Adrian and Olivet were part of the field at Michigan State's Spartan Invitational March 31-April 1. Adrian made their spring debut at the event and featured an MIAA-best time in the 4x100m relay (49.68). For Olivet, the Comets were paced by a PR performance by Nicole Sebok (So., Lennon, Mich.) in the 1500m run (5:19.18).
• Albion and Alma competed at Alma's Charles Gray Invitational at Alma April 1. As a team, Albion took second place thanks to Maicey Peterson (Sr., Clarkston, Mich.) winning the pole vault (3.08m) and aiding the winning 4x100 relay team to a first-place finish (49.71). Alma finished third out of eight teams and was led by a second-place finish by Hannah Garn (Jr., Charlotte, Mich.) in the 5000m run (18:52.07).
Albion's Jessica Shaw (Sr., Allegan, Mich.) improved her school record in the 5000m run at Washington University in St. Louis, finishing in 17:19.87.
• Calvin and Hope faced off for a dual meet at Hope March 31. For Hope, both Alison Rich (Jr., Haslett, Mich.) and Rachel Satkiewicz (Jr., Bloomfield Hills, Mich.) each had two first-place finishes; Rich in the long jump (5.14m) and javelin (35.60m), and Satkiewicz in the 100m dash (26.51) and 400m dash (1:01.01). The Knights were bolstered by a first and two second-place finishes by Michaela Meckes (Sr., Bay City, Mich.); Meckes won the discus (138 feet, 0 inches) and was the runner up in the hammer (129 feet, 3 inches) and shot put (35 feet, 10.75 inches).
• Trine saw a strong weekend from their throwers at the Bellarmine Invitational. Along with Kara Eck (Jr., Auburn, Ind.) winning the shot put (13.25m) to move into fourth place nationally, Jenn Steyer (Sr., Fenton, Mich.) finished fourth in the hammer throw (46. 97m) to move into 19th in the NCAA.
