Trine University won its second-ever MIAA Women's Indoor Track and Field Championship title on February 26, 2022, at Trine's Keith E. Busse/Steel Dynamics Athletic and Recreation Center.  The Thunder finished with a total of 173 points, ahead of second-place Hope (130 points) and third-place Albion (94 points).

Trine's Haley Livingston and Evie (Bultemeyer) Miller each earned two victories for the Thunder.  Livingston defended her championship titles with a record-breaking day.  She broke the 60m hurdles record from 2020 with a time of 8.94.  Her jump of 5.57m broke the 2017 long jump record by 0.15m.  Miller won the mile run in a time of 5:10.01 and the 3000m run with a time of 10:19.20.  Valerie Obear and Autumn Presley are the reigning champions in their events.  Obear threw 17.34m in the weight throw, while Presley clinched the win in the pole vault (3.10m).

Hope's Ana Tucker earned the top spot in the 5000m run after clocking in at 17:41.90.  She also assisted the Flying Dutch to a victory in the distance medley relay, along with teammates Jacinda Cole, Sophie Hall, and Jessica Schamanek.

Avery Campbell defended her titles in both the 60m dash and the 200m dash (26.25).  Her time of 7.87 in the 60m dash broke the previous 2019 record of 7.91.  Campbell also assisted the Brits to the top 4x400m relay (4:06.76), along with teammates Lauren McDowell, Cianna Brown, and Ashley Dubois.  Cianna Brown also had a record-breaking performance with a leap of 11.39m in the triple jump.

Delaney Sall of Calvin broke her previous MIAA record in the 800m run after clocking in at 2:11.79.

Adrian's Cailey Beaudoin defended her high jump title with her 1.63m leap, while breaking the previous 2020 record.

Alma's Ericka Bigham notched a victory in the 400m dash with a time of 59.15.

Lillian Albaugh of Olivet is the reigning champion in the shot put after throwing 13.09m.
