Around the MIAA
Adrian
The Bulldogs open their season at the Tiffin Open in Tiffin, Ohio on Saturday, Jan. 18. During last year's Tiffin Open, Britney Carnagie came in second place in the 60-meter hurdles. The Bulldogs look to have another successful performance at the Tiffin Open.
Albion
Alma
The Scots competed in the Saginaw Valley State University Classic on Friday (Jan. 10). Alma had four women competing in the final in the shot put our of nine total competitors. Charley Hengesbach (Saginaw, Mich.) led the Scots with a fifth-place finish, going for 12.03 meters in the final. Grace Hearth (Freeland, Mich.) had a season-best jump in the triple jump, jumping 9.75 meters, beating her previous season-high of 9.67 meters. Cornelia Gotaas (Alma, Mich.) was second in the 800 with a time of 2:38.15. Abigail Mooney made the long jump final with a distance of 4.44 meters.

Calvin will begin the 2020 calendar year Friday, Jan. 17 at the GVSU Bill Clinger Classic.
Hope
Hope will begin the 2020 calendar year Friday, Jan. 17 at the GVSU Bill Clinger Classic.
Olivet
Will compete for the first time this winter Saturday at the Don & Riley Zimmer Classic at Trine.
Trine
Finished as the top team in the Sean Brady/Keith Turner Alumni Open...Autumn Presley won the pole vault with a school-record height of 10' 4.00"...Other event winners included Stephanie Hartpence in the 400-meter dash (1:05.55) and Valerie Obear in the weight throw (50' 11.00").
