• Adrian captured 129 points to finish second at the Defiance College Invitational Jan. 27. Rayona Hart-Wilson (Jr., Coloma, Mich.) won the long jump with a leap of 5.28 meters. She also improved on her own school record set last year in the triple jump with a 10.20-meter jump that helped her finish fourth.
• Also at Defiance, Albion was the team winner with multiple first-place inidvidual performances. Among them were Layla Wilks (Fr., Chicago, Ill.) and her wins in the 60m dash (8.04), 200m dash, and a leg on 4x200m relay.
• Alma captured third at Defiance, with Blaire Showers (So., Ithaca, Mich.) winning the 800m run (2:31.33) and finishing second in the mile (5:33.72).
• Calvin placed 13th against a myriad of opponents across multiple divisions at the Grand Valley State Mike Lints meet. Maggie LaLonds (Sr., Grand Haven, Mich.) turned in a time of 1:05.66 in the 400m dash.
• Olivet took part at the Defiance Invite, with Nicole Zerfas (Sr., Fremont, Mich.) tallying a third-place finish in the 800m run (2:33.83).
• Trine also competed with Calvin at Mike Lints, Evonne Bultemeyer (Fr., Fort Wayne, Ind.) posting the top Thunder finish with her eighth place finish in the 800m run (2:17.35).
• Earning MIAA Athlete of the Week honors for Jan. 29 were:
