• Adrian kicked off their indoor season at Tiffin's Dragon Open Jan. 21. Takiyah Smith (Sr., Rochester, Mich.) finished third in the 60m hurdles (9.81) and fourth in the high jump (1.50m).
• Alma competed at the Doug Hansen Open at Saginaw Valley State Jan. 20, where Erin Goggins (So., Hastings, Mich.) won the pole vault with a career-matching best of 3.20 meters. Making an individual trip to Grand Valley State, Kaitlyn Arnold (Sr., Jackson, Mich.) improved her season time in the 3000m run to 9:50.08, good for second-best nationally.
• Calvin finished third out of 12 teams at the Carnegie Mellon Division III Invitational at SPIRE Institute. Jenna Dyksen (Jr., Hawthorne, N.J.) won the long jump (17' 1 3/4") and was second in the 200m dash (26.22).
• Hope started their indoor slate with a non-scoring meet at Aquinas College Jan. 20. Alexis Guttilla (Jr., St. Charles, Ill.) won the 1-mile run, finishing in 5:24.84; she led a 1-2-3-5 finish in the event by the Flying Dutch.
• Olivet took part in the Indiana Wesleyan Wildcat Invitational Jan. 21, where Isabelle Leon (Jr., Grand Rapids, Mich.) was the top finisher for the Comets, placing second in the 1000m run in 3:12.52.
• Trine was dominant with multiple first-place finishes at the Keith Turner Alumni Invitational Jan. 21. Kaylyn Forrest (Cassopolis, Mich.) set a record in the 60m dash, crossing in 8.12 seconds. Forrest was also on Trine's 4x400m relay squad that won with a time of 4:20.32. Kara Eck (Auburn, Ind.) won both the shot put and the weight throw to pace the Thunder in field events.
