MIAA Women's Indoor Track & Field Week #1 Wrap-Up

• Alma returned to the track Friday to compete at the Jack Skoog Triangular Open Jan. 13. Competing against Division I student-athletes, Kaitlyn Arnold (Sr., Jackson, Mich.) was the winner in the 3,000 meter tun for the Scots' top finish. Erin Goggins (So., Hastings, Mich.) tied for second in the pole vault with a height of 3.2 meters.

• Calvin competed at the GVSU Eubanks Invitational Jan. 13, with Jenna Dyksen (Jr., Hawthorne, N.J.) taking seventh place in the 60 meter hurdles against competition from both Division I and Division II institutions.

• Olivet took part in the SVSU Classic Jan. 14, with the Comets posting many highlight performances. Kimberly Barber (So., Gobles, Mich.) finished fourth in the long jump with an effort of 15 feet, 7 3/4 inches. Isabelle Leon (Jr., Grand Rapids, Mich.) placed fifth in the 1 mile run, crossing the line in 5:31.46.
