Hope's Herrmann Tabbed USTFCCCA Indoor Track & Field Athlete of the Week

Picking up the indoor track and field season where she left off her stellar cross country campain, senior distance runner Erin Herrmann of Hope College was named the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Division III Women's National Athlete of the Week Dec. 6.

In her first competition since finishing fourth at the 2016 NCAA Cross Country Championship last month, Herrmann clocked a PR and Hope record time of 9:44.42 in the 3,000-meter run at the Grand Valley State University Holiday Open Dec. 2.
