Hope Finishes Undefeated to Claim 2024 MIAA Women's Tennis Championship Title

HUDSONVILLE, Mich. -- The Hope College women's tennis program won the 2024 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association's (MIAA) after going undefeated in league competition.  This is the twelfth time since 2000 that the Flying Dutch were named the regular-season champions.

Hope is currently ranked tenth in the Central Region by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) and 33rd in the nation.

The Flying Dutch only gave up five games out of 72 played and currently have an overall record of 17-5.

Junior Sullivan Moran led the Hope squad with a conference record of 6-0.  Both sophomore Amanda Lopykinski and senior Annika Weeber went 5-1, while freshman Kamryn Dumas and sophomore Hope Rhoades finished the league schedule, 4-1, and freshman Madison Wei, 4-0.

The 2024 MIAA Women's Tennis Tournament bracket will be released on Sunday, April 28, at 10:00 a.m.
