Hope Women's Tennis Slated to Face John Carroll in NCAA Championships

The Hope women's tennis team aims to utilize their momentum from winning both the MIAA regular season and tournament titles to advance in the 2018 NCAA Division III Women's Tennis Championships, where the Flying Dutch will face John Carroll Thursday, May 10 at 1 p.m. in the First Round, hosted by Carnegie Mellon.

Hope (13-8) makes their seventh consecutive NCAA appearance and is coming off their 5-0 MIAA Tournament championship win over Calvin. John Carroll (18-6) won the Ohio Athletic Conference title. The winner of Hope/John Carroll will take on No. 5 Wesleyan in Friday's semifinal.

The teams will play a single-elimination tournament with the first, second- and third- rounds played at regional sites. Claremont McKenna-Harvey Mudd Scripps Colleges will host the team championships finals, which will be held May 21-23 at Biszantz Tennis Center in Claremont, California. Student-athletes selected to the individual championships will be announced Wednesday, May 9.
