• Adrian tallied two victories on the week, starting with their MIAA opening victory against Trine March 31. After a 3-0 lead in doubles, Adrian fended off a rally by Trine in singles for a 5-4 win. Then, against NAIA foe St. Francis April 2, the Bulldogs registered a 6-3 victory; Adrian won five singles matches, including  6-2, 6-4 win at No. 2 singles by Renae Adams Almasy (Jr., Grand Ledge, Mich.).  

• Albion defeated Alma April 2 in the MIAA opener for both teams, 7-2. Olivia Conover (Jr., Flushing, Mich.) was one of four Brits to earn two wins; Conover defeated Alma's Matilda Ennis 6-1, 6-1 at No. 3 singles.

• Hope jumped out to a 2-0 start in MIAA play, defeating both Olivet and Calvin last week by 9-0 scores. Nancy Benda (Sr., Birmingham, Mich.) moved up as the all-time leader in Hope history for career doubles wins with two victories last week for 79 career wins in doubles action.

• Kalamazoo started their MIAA slate with a 9-0 victory against Olivet April 2. Alexandria Oswalt (Jr., Vicksburg, Mich.) did not drop a game with an 8-0 win at No. 3 doubles with partner Sonal Bahl (So., Ann Arbor, Mich.) before a 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 6 singles.

• Saint Mary's notched a 7-2 non-league win against Bethel March 28. After dropping her doubles match, Monica Davy (So., Morris, Ill.) came back for a 6-2, 6-4 victory at No. 1 singles.
