Men's Recap
Calvin University opened the 2024 MIAA Men's Swimming and Diving Championship with a record-breaking first-place finish in the 800 free relay (6:37.94). The winning quartet included junior David Bajwa, senior Eric Chimes, junior Josh Seidelman, and sophomore Charles Platt.
Hope earned a second-place finish after concluding the 800 free relay with a time of 6:40.12. The group was led off by senior Ben Catton and was followed by sophomore Henry Booker and graduate student Bailey Smith, and anchored by junior Conner Halberg.
A second Knight quartet rounded out the top-three relays after clocking in at 6:46.39. The third-place quartet included junior Julien Camy, freshman Ryan Halberg, sophomore Jacob Ziegler, and junior Jack Kulaga.

Women's Recap
Calvin University started the 2024 MIAA Women's Swimming and Diving Championship with a first-place finish in the 800 free relay after clocking in at a record-breaking 7:27.59. The winning quartet included freshman Emma Merkel, juniors Sydney Sonday and Maggie Farrell, and senior Isabella Gable.
Hope College finished the 800 free relay in second place with a time of 7:29.40. The runner-up squad included juniors Greta Gidley and Sara Kraus, and sophomores Ashlea Swingewood, and Laurel Wasiniak. The Flying Dutch's third-place relay (7:42.38) included sophomore Katie Hermann, junior Norah Martin, sophomore Bella Turner, and junior Grace Wesley.
