MIAA Women's Swimming & Diving Week #8 Wrap-Up

• Albion emerged victorious in a back-and-forth dual with nationally-ranked Calvin Jan. 14, posting a 151-147 win in Grand Rapids, Mich. Aiding in the effort was Kylene Slocum (Sr., Kalamazoo, Mich.), who was a three-time individual winner in the 100 breast (1:07.09), 200 breast (2:26.44), and 400 IM (4:49.80) while also swimming on Albion's winning 200 medley relay team.

• Alma was dominant in their 139-62 victory over Olivet Jan. 14. Emily Price (Sr., Grand Rapids, Mich.) swept the distance swims for the Scots, while Kate Lehman (So., Haslett, Mich.), Sydney Hooker (Sr., Wayland, Mich.), and Brianna Bianconi (Sr., Jenison, Mich.) were also two-time winners. 

• Hope and Kalamazoo swam at the Michigan-Illinois Quad hosted by Wheaton Jan. 14. Hope placed second thanks to two-win efforts by Molly Meyer (Sr., South Bend, Ind.) and Elizabeth Fris (Jr., Holland, Mich.); Kalamazoo finished third overall.
