MIAA Women's Swimming & Diving Week #6 Wrap-Up

• Albion, Olivet, and Alma competed at the Carthage Invitational Dec. 2-3, with Albion leading the way among MIAA schools at the event. Kylene Slocum (Sr., Kalamazoo, Mich.) won both the 100 and 200 breast for Albion, while Olivet's 200 free relay team finished fourth overall and best among MIAA teams. Albion also finished 2-3-4 in the 200 IM with Anna Moore (So., Battle Creek, Mich.), Slocum, and Abby Slager (Jr., Hudsonville, Mich.) finishing strong.

• Calvin hosted strong opposition at the Calvin Invite Dec. 2-3, taking third against teams that included NCAA Division II foes as well as MIAA opponent Kalamazoo. Abby Van Harn (Jr., Grand Rapids, Mich.) posted NCAA "B" times of 23.52 in the 50 free and 50.69 in the 100 free to pace the Knights. On the boards, Sarah Bradley (Jr., Wheaton, Ill.) was second on the 3-meter and fourth on the 1-meter.

• Hope performed well at the Wheaton Invite Dec. 2-3, with two runner-up finishes in the 200 medley relay and 400 free relay. Chloe Palajac (Jr., Dearborn, Mich.) was second in the 200 fly, third in the 100 fly, ffith in the 200 IM, and swam on both runner-up relay teams.
