MIAA Women's Swimming & Diving Week #4 Wrap-Up

• Albion cruised past Kalamazoo Nov. 12, defeating the Hornets 148-89 in the home meet. Katie Ferrero (So., Royal Oak, Mich.) not only won the 1,000 free and 500 free on the day for the Brits, but touched third behind two teammates in the 200 free despite short recovery from the 1,000 yard event.

• Calvin battled tough but lost to Wheaton Nov. 12, 161-137. The Knights touched first in three events while Sarah Bradley (Jr., Wheaton, Ill.) was victorious in both 1-meter and 3-meter diving. Kendall Murphy (So., Modesto, Calif.) won the 1,000 free while the Knights went 1-2 in the 200 free with swims by Anna Serino (So., Pinckney, Mich.) and Madelyn Smith (So., Allegan, Mich.).

• Hope defeated MIAA foe Olivet Saturday, dispatching the Comets 155-49. With 12 event wins, Hope was led by Chloe Palajac (Jr., Dearborn, Mich.) who was a three-time winner; Palajac won the 100 free, 200 free, and 200 IM. Erin Emmert (Fr., Grand Blanc, Mich.) won both the 100 butterfly and 500 free.
