On the road to competing in the second round of the NCAA Tournament, the Knights won the regular-season title with a 7-0-1 record (16-0-1 overall) and earned the MIAA Tournament crown.  The Calvin roster will be headlined by 2022 MIAA Most Valuable Player Lucy Iverson.  The sophomore defender was named an All-American by D3soccer.com at the conclusion of her inaugural season.  The Knights will also return the following 2022 First Team All-MIAA honorees:  junior goalie Kalex Dodge, senior forward and three-time honoree Sophie Mueller, senior midfielder and two-time honoree Kaitlyn Van Laare, and senior defender and three-time honoree Rory Pruis.  All four players were selected to the All-Region VIII Team by United Soccer Coaches (USC) last year.  Fifth-year senior midfielder Anna Reimink and junior midfielder Lindsey Houtsma will also come back after earning a spot on the 2022 All-MIAA Second Team.

Trine ended the 2022 campaign with a 5-1-2 mark in league play and an overall record of 11-4-3.  Returning for the Thunder are 2022 First Team All-MIAA honorees Sophie Aschemeier and Teresa Ashbrook, both in their senior seasons.  Goalkeeper Aschemeier concluded the year second in the conference with three goals against, a 0.38 goals-against average, a save percentage of .906, five wins, and four shutouts.  Ashbrook, a forward for Trine, finished top seven in the league with four goals and nine points.  Both two-time All-MIAA honorees received All-Region recognition by the USC last season.  Senior defender Olivia Argentieri and senior midfielder Olivia Butterworth will also both return after earning Second Team All-MIAA honors.  Butterworth is a two-time All-MIAA selection.

Hope concluded 2022 with a conference record of 5-2-1 and an overall record of 10-5-2.  Defender Jenna Mustapha and forward Natalie Hammer will return for their senior seasons with the Flying Dutch after receiving First Team All-MIAA accolades last Fall.  Mustapha, a three-time All-MIAA honoree, assisted Hope in holding its opponents to just three goals throughout the regular season.  Hammer, a two-time All-MIAA selection, led the league with six goals and finished second with twelve points.  Both players were named to the USC All-Region VIII Team.  Senior forward Madison Holloway and sophomore defender Olivia Dieppa will also compete for Hope after receiving 2022 Second Team All-MIAA recognition.

After earning a 4-2-2 record against MIAA competition last year (8-6-5 overall), Nathan Kronewetter will be at the helm of the Bulldogs program in his first year as head coach.

Albion also welcomes a new head coach this year.  Ron Rainey will lead the Brits after they concluded 2022 with a 4-3-1 mark in league play and an overall record of 7-5-5.  Albion's roster will feature senior midfielder Quinn Natschke who earned Second Team All-MIAA honors last season.
