Calvin Women's Soccer Named MIAA Champion for Fourth-Consecutive Season

HUDSONVILLE, Mich. -- The Calvin University women's soccer program won its fifteenth Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) championship title in program history following a record of 7-1 in conference competition (13-1-2 overall) during the 2023 campaign.

The Knights clinched the regular-season crown with a 2-0 home victory versus Kalamazoo College on Wednesday, October 18.

Calvin concluded league play as the MIAA's leader with 205 shots, 28 goals scored, 25.6 shots per contest, 106 shots on goal, 18 assists, 82 corner kicks, and 6 shutouts.

The Knights will compete as the top-seeded team in the 2023 MIAA Women's Soccer Tournament.  Calvin receives a bye in the First Round on October 28 and will host the winner of the No. 4 vs. No. 5 contest at Zuidema Field on Tuesday, October 31.  The championship matchup will be hosted by the highest-remaining seed on Saturday, November 4.

The bracket for the 2023 MIAA Women's Soccer Tournament will be released on Wednesday, October 25, at 10:00 a.m.
