Calvin Women's Soccer Crowned MIAA Champion for Third-Straight Season

HUDSONVILLE, Mich. -- The Calvin University women's soccer program receives its 14th Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) championship title in program history following a 7-0-1 record in league play (15-0-1 overall) during the 2022 campaign.

The Knights closed out the regular season with a 2-0 home victory over Albion on Wednesday, October 26.

Calvin concluded league play as the MIAA's leader in shots (162), shots per game (20.3), assists (16), corner kicks (79), and shutouts (7).

The Knights will compete as the top-seeded team in the 2022 MIAA Women's Soccer Tournament.  Calvin receives a bye in the First Round on October 29 and will host the winner of the No. 4 vs. No. 5 contest at Zuidema Field on Wednesday, November 2.  The championship matchup will be hosted by the highest-remaining seed on Saturday, November 5.

The bracket for the 2022 MIAA Women's Soccer Tournament will be released on Thursday, October 27, at 9:00 a.m.
