Nine MIAA Soccer Programs Receive 2021-22 Team Academic Award from USC

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- On July 28, nine soccer programs from the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) received academic recognition from United Soccer Coaches (USC) for 2021-22.

A total of 808 soccer teams (303 men505 women) posted a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher, thereby earning the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award for the 2021-22 academic year.

Among the 154 schools that had both their men's and women's programs recognized were Albion College, Calvin University, and Trine University.

Hope College and Kalamazoo College lead the MIAA on the Women's Team Academic Award list, each with a grade-point average of 3.62.  The Olivet College women's soccer program was also recognized by the USC.
