Adrian Women's Soccer Player Angela Davis Voted Third Team CoSIDA Academic All-American®

AUSTIN, Texas – The College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) announced the 2020-21 Academic All-American team for women's soccer. After being named CoSIDA Academic All-District, Angela Davis was voted Third Team Academic All-American to represent the Adrian College women's soccer team.

To be eligible for Academic All-American® consideration, a student-athlete must be a varsity starter or key reserve, maintain a cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.30 on a scale of 4.00, have reached sophomore athletic and academic status at their current institution and be nominated by their sports information director.

Davis majored in exercise science at Adrian College and finished with a 4.0 GPA. She was one of seven women's soccer athletes on the CoSIDA Academic All-American team to total a 4.0 GPA. Davis was the only member of the MIAA that was voted Academic All-American.

In addition to her efforts in the classroom, Davis was named All-MIAA twice in her career and was All-Region in 2019. She was named to the MIAA Honor Roll and a 3-time conference champions. In her career, she played in 50 matches making 46 starts. She scored four goals with 17 assists to total 25 points.
