Adrian's Fleming Collects Second CoSIDA Academic All-District® Honor

Adrian College's Caroline Fleming of the women's soccer team was named to the 2019 College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-District® 6. Having made a second All-District squad, Fleming will again advance to the national ballot for CoSIDA Academic All-America®.

All-District is a title that recognizes student-athletes for their performances both on the field and in the classroom.

The Grosse Ile, Mich. native is the lone Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) honoree to have made the Division III District 6 list.

On the field, the 2019 MIAA Most Valuable Player led both the team and conference in goals (14), assists (12), points (40), shots on-goal (43) and game-winning goals (4). Fleming continues to extend a program-leading tally of assists, now at 32, while ranking third in points with 106.

In the classroom, the senior athletic training major has earned an impressive 3.98 GPA. Fleming was named to the 2018 CoSIDA Academic All-America® Third Team.

CoSIDA's NCAA Division III District 6 includes Michigan, Minnesota, and Wisconsin. Members of CoSIDA from the district vote on Academic All-District® honors. Student-athletes must be a starter or important reserve with at least a 3.30 GPA on a 4.0 scale and must have completed one full calendar year at the nominating institution to be eligible.
