All-MIAA - Women's Soccer - 2019

At the conclusion of the 2019 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association women's soccer regular season Thursday (Oct. 31), head coaches from the MIAA's nine member institutions that sponsor women's soccer voted on All-MIAA awards.

Adrian's Caroline Fleming was selected as the MIAA's Most Valuable Player, after the senior forward led the Bulldogs offensively in their MIAA Championship run. Against MIAA foes, Fleming registered five goals and three assists for 13 points in eight games to rank second in the league. Fleming tallied two game-winning goals in league play (vs. Saint Mary's Oct. 23 and vs. Alma Oct. 4) as Adrian went 7-1-0 in MIAA play to capture the 2019 MIAA Championship, the second in program history.

Fleming is one of three players to receive All-MIAA accolades three times in their careers in 2019: Adrian goalkeeper Ayverie Giller and Kalamazoo forward Libby Munoz. Munoz, who led the MIAA in goals in MIAA games (8), was named the first-ever MIAA Senior Sportswoman of the Year for women's soccer; the new honor recognizes a senior player who values competition, education, service, and who brings joy to the game.
