Hope's Dalton, Curry Headline MIAA Women's Soccer Players on United Soccer Coaches All-Region Team

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Nine Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association women's soccer players representing three teams garnered regional honors this week from the United Soccer Coaches with their selection to the 2018 United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division III Women's All-Central Region teams.

Hope, the 2018 MIAA Champion, had two First-Team All-Region selections in Rylie Dalton (Sr., M, Rockford, Mich.) and Hilary Curry (Sr., F, Grand Rapids, Mich.). In all, the Flying Dutch had four selections over the three teams, with Eliza Beird (Sr., D, Holland, Mich.) receiving second-team honors, while Morgan Buursma (Sr., D, Grandville, Mich.) was a third-team selection.

After making their first-ever NCAA Championship appearance in women's soccer, Adrian's record-setting season includes four players receiving All-Region accolades. Caroline Fleming (Jr., F, Grosse Ile, Mich.) repeated as a second-team selection, with teammate Megan Louwers (So., M, Grosse Pointe, Mich.) joining her on the second squad. Third-team honorees included Ayverie Giller (Jr., GK, Grand Ledge, Mich.) and two-time selection Rachel Rodeheffer (Sr., D, Commerce Twp., Mich.).

Calvin's Kali Mouw (Sr., M, Berwyn, Ill.) was named to the All-Region second team.
