Week #3 recap from Sept. 12-18

• Adrian improved their unbeaten streak to four games with a 1-1 draw against Albion Sept. 14 before non-conference victories against Wooster Sept 16 and Michigan-Dearborn Sept. 18.

• Albion registered two road results in MIAA play last week, a 1-1 draw at Adrian Sept. 14 and a 4-1 win Sept. 16 at Olivet. Four different players scored for the Britons in the victory against Olivet.

• After a mid-week loss at Calvin, Alma rebounded with a 6-0 win against Saint Mary's Sept. 16 to post a 1-1-0 week in MIAA play.

• Calvin's consecutive winning streak to start the season ended at six games this week, with a 4-0 setback at nationally-ranked Hope Sept. 16. The Knights did add an MIAA win to their season, a 4-0 victory at home against Alma Sept. 14.

• Hope rebounded from a last-minute loss to Kalamazoo Sept. 14 with a 4-0 home win against Calvin Sept. 16. Four players scored goals in the win.

• Kalamazoo picked up two key wins, a 1-0 victory against nationally-ranked Hope, scoring in the game's 90th minute to earn the win. Then, against Trine Sept. 17, Julie Zabik (So., F/M, Kalamazoo, Mich.) shook the nets in the 101st minute to vault the Hornets to a 1-0 road victory.

• Olivet went 1-1 against MIAA opponents, including a 3-0 win over Trine Sept. 14.

• Earning MIAA Athlete of the Week honors for Sept. 18 were:
