Hope Women's Soccer Claims 3-1 Win At Saint Mary's

The Hope College women's soccer team did its part to make the upcoming regular-season finale have a league championship at stake.

The Flying Dutch claimed a 3-1 win at Saint Mary's on Tuesday behind goals from three different players.

Hope raised its record to 15-2-2 overall and 12-1-2 in Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association matches.

The Flying Dutch remained 1 ½ games behind first-place Calvin after the Knights earned a 4-3 overtime win at Alma on Tuesday.

Hope needs Calvin to lose to or tie Olivet this Saturday to have a chance for a MIAA title on Monday when the Flying Dutch host the Knights. Hope is idle until Monday.
