Adrian College Ties Kalamazoo 0-0 Following Two Overtimes

Adrian, Mich. – The Adrian College women's soccer team (3-3-3, 1-3-1) tied Kalamazoo (3-5-1, 3-2-1) 0-0 in double overtime. Senior Lexi Lewandowski, with help from the stout Bulldog defense, recorded her sixth shutout of the season.

Kalamazoo dominated the game offensively attempting 22 shots during the contest, however only six of those shots were on goal. Adrian's offense failed to get going only attempting four shots for the match.

The best look of the night for both teams came in the second overtime when Bulldog Junior Carlin O'Malley had a wide open look at the net just inside the box, but the ball sailed high over the crossbar.

The tie puts the Bulldogs at the sixth spot in the MIAA with four points; Kalamazoo is currently in third with 10.

Adrian will look to add three points to their conference total Saturday September 26 when they host Trine. Match is scheduled to begin at 2:30 p.m.
